Attic transformation
An Edgewater home was in need of creating a new space in the house where they could work on their artwork. The proposed idea was to refurbish the existing attic into a usable space. This renovation consisted of: Reinforcing the roof structure and installing high efficiency close cell spray foam insulation. A new Space spac cooling system. Updated electrical system with adjustable track lights. We created a new dormer to increase the height of the stairwell. Three Marvin window skylights were put in to bring in more natural light and provide a more open feel for the room. Custom beams were installed across the top of the space to match the existing heart pine plank floors that were repaired and refinished.
